There are no Mistakes in Art

Posted by Kristen Schoeck on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, In : Art
Mistakes are almost always of a sacred nature. Never try to correct them. On the contrary: rationalize them, understand them thoroughly. After that, it will be possible for you to sublimate them.

The Brand of Obama

Posted by Kristen Schoeck on Tuesday, March 23, 2010,

Designed by SimpleScott in Chicago, this logo utilizes every design element to tell Obama's message without words. For example, his campaign slogan of "Hope" appears many times. The "O" is formed into a rising sun symbolizing a new day and hope. Whatever the reason, watch this TED talk where Gary Flake demos Pivot, a new way to browse and arrange massive amounts of images and data online. I just downloaded it, and it's awesome.
